1. I have just joined IOM as a new staff member and need to complete the mandatory courses. Should I do that in E-Campus or Wave Learn?
Until the go-live of Wave Learn on 13 January 2025, if you need to urgently complete the mandatory courses, please do so via E-Campus. Once Wave Learn is available, you are invited to download your completion certificates from E-Campus and upload these into Wave to complete your records.
2. During the transition to Wave Learn, how can I participate in the PSEAH instructor-led sessions and receive my completion certificate?
Staff may continue to participate in PSEAH sessions during this transition. The links to register for these sessions are published directly in the SDL community in Viva Engage. For any further questions, please liaise with colleagues from the PSEA-SH unit [email protected], including Jasmine NANGCA [email protected] in cc.
3. I completed the IOM mandatory trainings in E-Campus when I was initially hired but later, I got access to I-Learn as a staff member and uploaded these as 'external training'. Do I need to download these certificates from I-Learn and upload them myself in Wave Learn?
Completion certificates generated in external learning platforms, regardless of whether these are for mandatory or non-mandatory courses, must be self-uploaded by staff members into Wave Learn following by following this guide.
4. I need to re-take previously completed mandatory trainings to meet USRAP requirements. How can I do that in Wave Learn?
The reassignment of previously completed mandatory trainings for USRAP colleagues is being coordinated between SDL and the USRAP HR Business Partner. You can expect to receive communications on this in the coming weeks.

6. Can mandatory trainings be assigned to new hires at the pre-boarding stage?
SDL is working with the BT Team to provide 'pending worker' access to the learning module during the pre-boarding stage. Further communication will be shared with Human Resources (HR) colleagues.
7. Can HR Specialists assign training to new staff members, or can this action only be performed by supervisors?
As this relates to role assignments, SDL will liaise with the BT Team and revert to HR colleagues about the possibility. Until then, please guide new staff to self-enrol in IOM mandatory trainings and managers can also assign these directly, if needed.
8. I completed the PSEA webinar last year but am not sure how to access my certificate?

9. Will mandatory trainings appear as completed in my Wave Learn transcript if I previously completed them in I-Learn?
Yes, these courses will appear as completed in this case.
