Depending on the advertised position and also the location of an interview panel, it may take time for them to conclude the interview process and contact those candidates short-listed for a position. It is ok to send a thank you note to panel members and reiterate your openness to answer additional questions; generally speaking it may take the panel 4-6 weeks to contact candidates. In general, if you have been interviewed, you will receive an answer. Follow-up if necessary, and not due to impatience.
