The specific questions you are asked during an interview will relate to the specific competencies of the job you are applying for so first, please look closely at the vacancy announcement and terms of reference to identify the required competencies and also review IOM’s Competency Framework.
In terms of general questions you may be asked:
“Tell me about a mistake you made and what you learned from it?”
“Describe a project you had limited resources and/or a tight time constraint”
“Give me an example of your ability to handle unexpected change”
“Tell me about a time you had difficulty with a peer”
