The formulation of your cover letter may vary depending on the position for which you apply. If you are applying for a position that is very technical and requires very specific, stated skills it may be appropriate to bring this out in a cover letter. If the position covers a broader area of work a few strong examples may suffice. Look carefully at each Terms of Reference and required qualifications when you formulate your cover letter and CV.
