1. As a HR or training focal point, will I be able to run training progress reports myself in Wave Learn in 2025?
The reporting features within Oracle, which relate not only to the learning module but to the entire system, are being explored and developed by the Business Transformation team. Once more information on the possible reporting capabilities for Training and HR focal points is available, SDL will share this with you. Until then, you may contact SDL for any training statistics needed.
2. Can I continue to award badges for my trainings in Wave Learn?
Awarding of badges in Wave Learn is currently not possible; however, the SDL and Business Transformation teams will keep you updated about future developments.
3. Can I customize completion certificates for my trainings in Wave Learn?
Customization of training certificates in Wave Learn would not be possible. Learners will receive the standard IOM-issued certificate.
4. Can I continue to send request for pop-ups and banner images for course promotions in the new Learning Management System?
Pop-ups and banners for course promotions are currently not feasible in the new LMS. Should this change, SDL will keep you updated. Meanwhile, please continue submitting your training promotion requests for Viva Engage via this link.
5. What should I do if the MS Teams link does not generate for a virtual instructor-led training?
After some time, please return to the course you have enrolled in, expand the offering and check if the "Download Invite" button has become active. If not, scroll down to see if the MS Teams link appears under the "Virtual Classroom" section. In this case, please create a calendar blocker for yourself and add the link.
6. I am trying to download the calendar invite for a virtual instructor-led training in Wave, but it does not appear in my Outlook calendar. What should I do?
If you encounter this problem, please access the iCalendar File in your downloads, right click on it and choose 'open with'. From the options that you see, please select to open with 'Outlook' and not 'Outlook - new'. If this also does not work, please create a calendar blocker for yourself and add the link from the course in Wave (see previous question for additional guidance on the MS Teams link).
