2. Can I continue to send requests to upload pop-ups and banner images for course promotions in the new Learning Management System (LMS)?
Pop-ups and banners for course promotions are currently not feasible in the new LMS. Should this change in the future, SDL will keep you updated. Meanwhile, please continue submitting your training promotion requests for Viva Engage via this link.
3. What technical settings should be used when creating new E-Learning content for uploading to Wave Learn?
The preferred authoring tools are: 1) Storyline; 2) Lectora; and, 3) Captivate. In addition, please ensure that the following technical specifications are followed to ensure compatibility.

H.264 compression standard and AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) format should be used
5. What technical settings should be used when designing learning guides or reading materials for uploading to Wave Learn?
The only supported file format is PDF, with a maximum file size of 1 GB.
6. Does Wave Learn have a "Playlist" functionality like I-Learn did?
Yes, Wave Learn has a playlist-like functionality called "specialization". Training owners can reach out to the SDL team to discuss its use further.
7. Is there an evaluation form that can be set-up in Wave Learn?
Yes, evaluation forms can be added at the end of self-paced learning modules or instructor-led trainings published in Wave Learn. The questionnaire is configured as a required step before learners may access their training completion certificate. The questionnaire can be customized based on your needs as a training owner, or the default questionnaire can be used (you may view the default evaluation form here.)
Please note: Due to system limitations, training owners won’t be able to view the responses to the evaluation questionnaire. However, you may be able to view the list of learners who have submitted the evaluation form.
8. Can we link evaluation forms from external tools (i.e. MS Forms or Qualtrics) to the courses that we manage in Wave Learn?
Custom evaluation forms or feedback questionnaires on tools like MS Forms or Qualtrics can be integrated into Wave Learn. This lets training owners access responses in real time through their chosen tool. To set this up, please share the questionnaire link with SDL.
Note: SDL is not responsible for maintaining active forms. Use a shared email account in MS Forms or Qualtrics to ensure long-term functionality, preventing broken links.
