Through I-Learn, we have enabled the external training option for staff to record their external training courses and / or events. Consequently, this will be automatically reflected on your I-Learn learning transcript. 


Steps to register your external courses and training events in I-Learn


STEP I.  LOG-IN TO I-LEARN

  • I-Learn link:  https://iom.csod.com
  • Username & password: use your IOM credentials (email address & password) to sign in.


STEP II.  REGISTER YOUR EXTERNAL COURSES AND TRAININGS

  • From the I-Learn welcome page under ‘Continue my learning journey’, click on ‘Get Started’.

  • Your transcript will open. Click on the three dots that are located on the right. From the drop-down menu, select the “Add External Training” option.

 

  • Complete all the fields in the form, noting that the ones marked in asterisks (*) are required fields.

  • When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’ to save.

 

 

STEP III. VERIFY THAT YOUR COURSE/TRAINING HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY RECORDED

  • After adding your external training or course information, as well as uploading the certificate, you will be taken back to your I-Learn transcript. Locate your training from the list and click on ‘Mark Complete’.

 

  • Once done, click on the arrow next to ‘Active’ to open up a drop-down menu. Then, click on ‘Completed’ to access your completed courses. 

                     

 

  • Next, filter your transcript by training type. Click on ‘All Types’ then select ‘External training’ from the drop-down menu.
