IOM Staff are encouraged to apply even if they have applied before. There is a limited number of licenses at a time, and more openings can be available in different launches. Former applicants are therefore given higher priority provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

The selection panel is required to consider diversity, including geographical and gender balance. Hence, if a candidate was not able to enter in one round, this does not disqualify them for applying once more.
